To produce the LeafGreens, AIM uses an exclusive ultra-cold filtration technique. The juice is chilled to below 44 degrees Fahrenheit and concentrated through a series of filters. This mechanical process uses no chemicals or additives; the only addition is pressure. Through this concentration process, it takes 44 pounds of leaves to make one pound of AIM LeafGreens. It was reported in the journal "Cancer Epidemiology Biomarkers & Prevention" and the "International Journal of Cancer Reserch" that the antioxidants in spinach may lower the risk of breast and ovarian cancer. Also, the flavenoid quercetin in faba bean, field pea and spinach leaves offer many benefits, but is best known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Studies of the anti-inflammatory properties of quercetin was shown to inhibit the inflammation in joints of those with arthritis.
