AIM Composure®

The nervous system, which is the communication center of the body, includes the brain, spinal cord and a network of nerves that branch out to every part of the body. The brain is the command center that allows us to think, move, touch, smell, hear and see.

As with any body system, good nutrition plays an important role in helping to maintain the good health of the nervous system. AIM Composure® helps to maintain your neuro health, especially with regard to efficiently dealing with day to day stress.

Everyone deals with stress, but what triggers it is different in everyone. Personality, genes and personal experiences all influence how we deal with stress. Whatever the cause, stress is a factor in many diseases. Stress may aggrivate an existing health problem or trigger an illness if you're at risk for the illness.

Stress contributes to an estimated 80% of major illnesses which includes cardiovascular disease, digestive diseases such as ulcers and ulcertive colitis, mental disorders, injuries, nervous system and sensory-organ diseases, musculoskeletal diseases, cancers, endocrine and metabolic diseases, skin disorders and infectious ailments of all kinds.

During stress, the body responds similarly to the way it reacts after a physical threat when it rises to meet the challenge. A hormone called corticotropin-releasing factor stimulates the pituitary gland to release adrenocorticotrophic hormone which signals your adrenal gland to release more homones including adrenaline and cortisol.
